I am in no ways an 'full on gamer'
Respect to those who are.
But as a Kid growing up, I just never really got into gaming. I would much rather spend my days either playing outside or sitting inside drawing.
Sure, there were a few games that I LOVED playing on pinnies (like Alien VS Predator) and a few games on my Master System and Megadrive II (Genesis), but again, never that hard core into it.
Last year I got a Nintendo 3DS (an upgrade from a DSxl) and have enjoyed playing a few games to 'burn time' as I wait to do something else.
Arriving in Canada for my Winter 'Holiday' in December 2011, Kwibi introduced me to this game called 'Animal Crossing'.
An old game, but she figured it'd be something I might enjoy (as the player can design their own T-shirt and make the town tune). Two small features that I could be creative in.
I figured what the heck, could be fun.
I gotta say, I am definitely enjoying myself with it. It's silly and very simple, but it's that simplicity that I enjoy.
Fishing, designing shirts, Digging up Fossils. All Simple fun.
In fact so fun that I'm actually looking forward to the 3DS edition of the game.
Not sure when the release is for that, but I'm definitely going to nab it when it is out.
I'm also quite eager to get that PPac-Man & Galaga Dimensions game (It was out when I got the 3DS, but I forgot to get the game).
Nicktoons MLB could be fun too *shrugs*
