anyway i think it was last week

and i had this idea of makin up a character for the 'sonic-world' as a random-jam... after that we had such a kick that for this week we set out to get two existing characters and smoosh'em 2gether... and ~felle2thou got a kick outta this week's task (

so yeh.. for next week it's 'gender-benders'... which is basically drawing any existing character and .. drawing them as the opposite sex.. sounds simple and fun enough eh..BUT we'll leave that one for next week..OK?.

nada, well... i've got like ... hmm.. less than 2 weeks left of my UNI life this year... so that's gonna be sumfin...  hmm... i've got a bunch of written tasks to do [blegh... i HATE written tasks.. HATE]. But i've been distracted w/ Anime/Manga's that i've not done shit-all!

...but anyway.. we're gonna have 2 exhibitions too..  that should be swell.
i'mma be printing 'SYKED' in A3 format..   x2...  i might consider selling one of the A3 copies...  if any1's interested.. buzz...   i guess i can take best offer.. ehehe..

but yeh. new arts been slow...  VERY slow..  prolly won't pump out any new shit til like mid-late November...

what is new...

well anyway...  i've recently been into reading manga's scanlated online..
like full on.

i've read like Girl Saurus [funny], started reading it's sequa..which aint complete yet, currently waiting for more chapters of Ichigo 100% [i'm freaken hooked to this i tells ya..I NEED MORE DAMNIT!], finished Salad Days.. which i really did enjoy and yeh..  also Girl Saurus, which is a laugh.

also seen a few more anime..
hmmm what were those titles..
Midori no Hibi [loved it.. short and sweet]
Ai Yori Aoshi [jst started it.. lovin it]
Soul Hunter [good series, better than i had expected]
i'm sure there's more... jst forgetting it right now [i'm @ UNI so i'm not positive]

i don't plan on getting into the regular shit [naruto/bleach]... dunno why...
but yeh...  all in all.. nuthin new..

here's something for the comic artists out there.. well any artists actually..

The theme for the contest is to combine two comic characters. (preferably not one thats already been done) ala the DC/Marvel Amalgam comics.

oh and there's prizes aswell..

1 x 3 month subscription
2 x 1 month subscription

End date - the 15th Sept.

obviously the more work they put in, the better their chances are.

so what's new ...
well..i've got the cough, *cough*cough*... and it's annoying.
good thing is that i've still got the energy to do stuff.
Uusually when i'm sick i jst feel like shit, but i'm glad this aint the case this time around.

2 weeks back i baught that Invincible H/C and i must say.. it was well worth it. Cool story, very solid artwork and man, were those extra sketches @ the back too cool.. TOO cool.

end of this month, i'mma go see Lyrics Born in a small concert.. that should be DOPE!

jst listening to the Visionaries 3rd LP titled Pangaea and man.. is this one of the illest hip-hop albums i've heard recently.
I'm waiting for Little Brother's 2nd LP to drop, their first was tight and from what i've heard, their mix-tape was mean. ..yeh

Uni jst began... 2nd semester of this final year of mine..

i know i really should get that comic book done for class.. i cabn't believe i spent y 1 month break doin shit all.. bah.. such an idiot am i..

so recently, i've jst bombarded myself w/ anime left and right...

here's a list of anime i've watched in the 3 weeks along w/ what i thought of each..

Ninja Scroll TV             - does the Original Movie justice, i think
those who hunt elves    - funny, enjoyed this alot
saber marionette j        - another series i enjoyed.. i need to watch more though..
Tenjou Tenge               -  i needs to watch that damned O.V.A.. enjoyed this quite a bit too
the Scrapped Princess   -  had no expectation about this @ the start, totally enjoyed it...
the Soul Taker              - better than what other have told me about it
Cowboy Bebop             - i found that this was overhyped..  it didn't really do much for me...
Chrno Crusade             - one series that is definately worth watchin'
Full Metal Panic             - this too was a very cool series.. i must watch the sequel series...
Full Metal Alchemist       - got hooked to this.. very good this one is
.hack//SIGN                 - started off cool.. ending was a bit dissapointing
R.O.D OVA                   - another anime which i enjoyed quite alot
Metropolis - nice flick     - animation was crisp... i dug that
Princess Mononoke        - this one i enjoyed quite a bit
Kiki's Delivery Service   - a fun anime, jst cool i guess
Mahoromatic                 - loved this, funny az.. and that ending was cool [although i'm sure some hated it]
Perfect Blue                  - this was jst str8 up ....weird
GTO                             - wicked show... jst wicked really enjoyed it.. heaps..

i tells ya i need more...

like the O.V.A's of both saber marionette j and Tenjou Tenge

this friday i plan 2 get more.. teehee!
