It's always educational and fun to see the process of an artwork. The work beforehand can often go underestimated, since there is often much planning prior.

The final composition you have chosen definitely suits the scene and communicates between them very well.

Thank you for sharing your process.

those lines are so damn thin, could you by any chance tell me how you did the lines cause I've tried it in photoshop and found it very tedious

can i ask why u don't just use the line art say from d or e that u did with PS? like what is the particular advantage to using scanned line art done in pencil?

it's more of a preference.
Sure there's probably pros and cons to both digital and traditional, but yes it's just preference.

Great to see the process you follow when creating an image....is this all thumbnailed directly into Photoshop or do you do a few old school pencil and paper first?

your drawing it digitally printing out and goin from there?

This an easier workflow for you?

i don't print anything out
I just do layouts digitally as its easier to flesh out for me.

Neeeeeaaat. B)

So, all of the sketching processes are separated by layers, right? Is the blue sketching for the rough design, and the red sketching for fleshing the characters out?

all the initial laying out is done on the comp, as it doesn't require me to scan and all that/easier to do.

once that's approved then i can draw pencil to paper.

D would have been a great choice too; Bison's crossed arms would have contrasted nicely with Akuma's pose. But the cover turned out great regardless.

Though In a way I can see why you didn't use it. Would've looked too much like the Ryu/Sagat one for Turbo 10.
