the Gladiator Walkby =theCHAMBA

AND Another Walkthrough.

This time, for an A4 Full Traditional colour pre-con commission I had to do.

The character is Melvin Potter a.k.a GLADIATOR, a villain from the Daredevil comicbook series.

and here we go.

1) This rawscan shows the baseline sketch of the character.
Drawn using a 4H lead pencil, I quickly sketch in the primary figure using loose shapes.

2) Following the guides shown on step 1, I then drew in the lineart using a BIC Grip Roller pen and a ZIG Millennium 005 pen with a Black Sharpie for the outline.

3) Erased all the pencil guidelines, I now used various sized black Sharpie markers, adding some solid black shades.

4/5) Using coloured Sharpies (for the blue and yellow), and copics E95 + YR00 (for the skin) I then coloured it up, completing the commission.

and that's it.

So if you drew it on a paper, how do you make it so clean looking like it was never scanned or it came straight from photoshop? I really like the way you did it.
