Great work, as always. How is redbubble compared to zazzle?

Hmm. Sorry. :(

Well, Zazzle is like Cafepress and Spreadshirt.

1) You create a design.
2) You upload it to their site.
3) They print it on almost any apparel, bag, mouse pad, mugs, posters, etc.
4) They provide you with a free: Online Shop, Customer Service, etc.
5) They (the website) and you make a percentage from the sales profits.
6) You keep the rights to your art.

All you have to do is create the design(s)/idea(s) and advertise. Zazzle even provides lil interactive widgets you can put in Facebook, Myspace or on any website that shows some of your products for people to click and buy.

You can see some of the great stuff that :iconladysnowbloodz: has on zazzle.

Like this: [link]

Anyways, since I never seen or heard of red bubble, I just wanted to know what it was like and how it compared to the other sites. Thanks anyways for the quick reply. I appreciate it.

Great design! I bet a lot of people will want to buy this.

I can also see that the preview image sort of dulls down your reds a bit. (If you'll remember, I asked you for your advice on the subject and, again, I really appreciate the response.) I hope the shirt looks brighter and more colorful when printed.

on the original randomveus pin-up, you can see him @ the bottom.
I've yet to illustrate a full body version, as in the pin-up only his shoulder/upper-chest/arms and head can be seen.

I guess it's just time to get in touch with Sunrise Studios and sell ideas, hahaha. Then again there's always the "amazing-yet-legal-similarity-between-characters" option...

not too sure about those colored "speed" effect things (lost for words here), might be a bit too much, especially on a T.

my bet is this isn't gonna get screenprinted

Indeed! Well I was thinking of the Lagann like everyone else, but the overall detail ya put into this mecha is more reminiscent of SD.

if i had intended of making it more of a Ganmen or lagann design, trust me. It would be ALOT more reminiscent of those that what it looks like now.

:iconarmadais:

Yeah, ya would've at least added a human-like face if that was your intention. Regardless though more people are reminded of the lagann. Down to it all it just comes down to what people are use to seeing, and at this point its more gurren lagann than SD.

it's a chibi, not a ganmen

:iconninjadeoro:

well the characteristics you gave it made it look more like a ganmen then a chibi...chibis dont have heads that take up the majority of the body like ganmen's do, generally the chibi's arms come out the body they are just deformed like midgets...but ganmen have arms that come out of their head like you drew here in your t-design....hey im not sayin its bad i like it but it looks more like a ganmen then a chibi

not to mention the pose....its very gurren-lagann like the whole pointing at you...they did that alot

either way i would still rock the shirt

actually if you look @ this design well (or actually knew the design of the actual thing) you'd of realizes that the arms aren't coming out from the sides of the head.
the shoulders/chest/lower torso/waist are all visible in this.
Sure i took the liberty of squeezing it down more than it has to be, and since TTGL seems to be the 'hot thing' at the moment it's easily understandable that it would be linked to that, more so that the gundam SD's of the past.

mayhaps gundam sd needs to make a comeback, so that so many ppls wouldnt make the wrong association...i got actually got a chibi turn-a-gundam lol (because thats the only way that rediculious looking gundam can be less of a joke)....maybe its the perspective of your drawing thats throwing me off but the arms still look like they comin out his head
