Future Fantastic - lineart Collab by theCHAMBA Future Fantastic - lineart Collab by theCHAMBA
an [ :iconanklesnsocks: ] X [ :iconthechamba: ] Collaboration

We'll eventually collab-colour this up, when the time can be found (hopefully soon)

But in the meantime, here are the HI-res lines for anybody else who would like to colour it.

Please do link back to this if you do decide to colour/post on DA.

We'd love to see it!

Need colour Reference?!

Her arm, the one that's pointed backward... it looks a little short. It doesn't look like it's pointing WAY behind her because of her shoulder muscles, so instead it just looks short.

Do your brushes have special settings? The brushes on CS5 are pretty fuzzy to me.

i use cs3 and nope, no specific settings

Hmm must be the CS5 brushes then. I used CS3 before I upgraded and I realized that its brushes are more refined than CS5's.

that shouldn't be the case
upgrades rarely downgrade in features.
I would suggest to play around with brush settings.

Ok I'll see what I can do. I doubt I can change much though. CS5 is indeed an upgrade but I believe the brushes were the one thing that changed negatively, haha.

play around more before you make that judgement call
Because there are probably heaps of folks would disagree with you there.

Wow, this is great! I love the motion and the lineart.
Yeah, I ususally like the lineart more than the final peices...

I have a quaestion, please, could you tell me how to achieve the outline like the one on the girl?

A line of the same thickness. It's quite hard (impossible) doing it freehand.

Kind regards,

~G

sue was drawn on her own layer, and i made sure her outline was completely closed. i selected the area around her, inverted it, expanded the selection and filled it with black. then i erased the inside of it so you can see sue and only left the area outside of her so her outline became thicker.

I didn't draw Sue, but one method I know would be to turn off the 'shape dynamics' of the brush in use.
