FCBD 2014 Sketches 21 - 22 by theCHAMBA FCBD 2014 Sketches 21 - 22 by theCHAMBA
So for this year's Free Comic Book Day, I took part in two events that took place in my local ComicShops Classic Comics and All-Star Comics.

So for that day, I was doing free head sketches for the folks who attended these two shops.
Throughout the day I managed to snap pics of nearly all the sketches I did, but unfortunately due to camera issues missed out on a few.

Will be posting a pair like these daily till all 30+ I managed to snap pics of are uploaded.

fun times were had that day.
Exhausting, but definitely fun.

Alita (Gunnm) + Green Ranger (MMPR)

The sketch postings continue.

Truth be told, it was Power Rangers that sparked my interest in the original Japanese Super Sentai shows in the first place...although I do remember catching a parody of six random episodes of Kagaku Sentai Dynaman on a late night programme on the USA Network called Night Flight back in the late 1980s...said programme also being notorious for humourous dubs of Shaw Brothers Kung Fu Flicks under the moniker "Rick Shaw's Take-Out Theatre".

Well, that's true, it opened the doors to some incredible shows.

For what it's worth, VR Troopers awoke me to the Metal Hero genre that is best known for such shows as Uchuu Keiji Gavan and Juukou B-Fighter (the last one was later "Americanised" into BeetleBorgs ).
