This is page One of a four page part i did along with Udon for Enterbrain in Japan. The book this appears in is for sale in Japan right now : Street Fighter Art Comic Anthology and there hopefully is a good chance we will release this in North America as well. It is over 150 pages of colour work by all sorts of japanese manga artists.

So page 2, Charlie doin his kick thing on Ryu.
I tend to not drawing in backgrounds, as I usually know that I'll do something to it when in colour stage.
for me, I'd rather not draw something in there when I know i'll end up blurring them anyway.
But that could be just me.

Done up around January of this year

When you fill in the base colors like in panel 2, do you use the polygon lasso? because I find that the magic wand is too imprecise and doesn't get the edges I want. Thanks
